<p>Listening skill is a vital component of language acquisition on the grounds that it can foster improvement other skills. Therefore, enhancing students’ listening constantly gaining prominent attention most English teachers at secondary schools. Besides, applying competency-based instruction into teaching novel method helps attain attitudes, affecting their comprehension. this current study aimed to examine attitudes toward using in for main idea and specific information.
